9. Easiest person to buy for? Andrea. Andrea never abuses my generous nature, but she always lets me know what she wants, and I love that about her! That goes for her birthday and anniversary too. Such ease and grace. I’m glad we’re close enough to be that comfortable.

Tag: 8 random things about my kitchen

I just realized that Flo has never seen my kitchen. For if she had seen it, she would have known better than to tag me…I must invite the Oakses for dinner before they pull up stakes in SLO.

Back to the topic, I’ll be a good sport and play along.

Here is a list of 8 random things about my kitchen:

I don’t have a proper kitchen. I have one counter and the basic appliances: oven, stove, fridge and microwave.

  1. I just won my first ever kitchen battle with ants. We have had an uneasy ceasefire for 2 years now, but the temptation of cantaloupe rind was apparently too great, and the ants broke the truce. I was swift in my retribution and have crushed their incursion. We have returned to our established geographical boundaries.
  2. I always keep a jar of dried basil in my spice rack. Just in case I can’t get fresh at Farmer’s Market.
  3. I can never use a gallon of milk before it’s expiration date, but I keep buying it because a half gallon goes too quickly. Why don’t they sell three-quarters of a gallon?
  4. The wine tubes in the wine rack and around the room do not contain wine. They are full of yarn.
  5. My kitchen is also my living room.
  6. My living room is also my craft room.
  7. My craft room is also my entry foyer.

And now you know so I tag: Heather, Stephanie, Travis, and Rebecca.

Current Netflix: Sweet Land & Heroes: Season 1: Disc 7
